Welcome to Nature@Sundown

The Nature@Sundown project has reached a successful conclusion and the resources that we generated are here for you to use. There are some short videos on barn owls, some on-line information on birds and mammals and some download sheets. Feel free to explore the site. Please keep a watch on the Ambios website for further projects and opportunities to get involved with wildlife in the UK, in Europe or further afield.

Many thanks to all the Nature@Sundown project team, the partner organisations and the funder for making it such a successful project.

If you would like to read more about the project, the final report is available here.

Otters in Devon

This otter was recorded visiting a river in Devon, not far from Exeter, at the end of January 2010. The Nature@Sundown project will be bringing you more video clips like this one very shortly. We are expanding the number of cameras along the river in the hope that we can begin to understand things like - how many otters are visiting the river (three we think!), how long does it take them (or one of them) to travel the distance between our cameras and what times of day and night do they pass by.

We are hoping to be able to set up a system that enables the cameras to send you emails or text messages when the otters pass by. If you've like to join in with this project, be kept in touch with how the are otters are doing, and help us to gather more information about Devon otters, please email info@natureatsundown.com with your contact details.
